Chris Zigment |

Background: Chris was born and raised in New York where she graduated from the University of the State of New York with B. A. in English Literature. Her duties as an Air Force wife took her all over the country and included a seven year stay in Germany as well. While overseas, Chris was a substitute teacher as well as a kindergarten aide. Upon returning to the States, she returned to school and earned her teaching license from UCCS. She was a substitute teacher for two years before coming to Pauline Memorial as a part-time kindergarten teacher. In 1997, she developed the all day kindergarten program to increase the amount of teachable time and minimize stress while still allowing for a developmentally appropriate kindergarten program with a hands-on philosophy.

Sr. Mary Jane Vigil, 2nd Grade |

| Sister is a member of the Benedictine Sisters of Benet Hill Monastery She has a diploma in Pastoral Liturgy from St. Joseph’s in Indiana, a BA in History from Regis University, and has completed many courses and workshops in the areas of Education, Spirituality, Liturgy, and Religious Education. She has taught in the primary grades for 34 years in Iowa, Missouri and Colorado. Prior to coming to Pauline Memorial she served as coordinator of Liturgy for the Community at Benet Hill Monastery as well as Minister of Vocations for thirteen years. During that time she served on the Diocesan Liturgical Commission and committees to plan the Diocesan celebrations of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She was also part of the vocation team in the Diocese. She reentered the teaching field in August of 2001 as the second grade teacher at Pauline. Her hobbies include gardening, crafts, hiking, singing, listening to music, reading, watching Bronco’s football and participating in various activities with the Sisters at Benet Hill Monastery. | ||

| Jamie received her BA in Elementary Education as well as her teaching license from CU with a specialization in Social Sciences. She received a Whole Language Certification from CU as well. She has been at Pauline Memorial since 1991. She taught 2nd grade for three years at Divine Redeemer, taught gifted and talented and special needs in District 11 for one year, and substituted on year at Head start for disadvantaged preschool children. She enjoys water-skiing, pottery,hiking,biking,reading and spending time with her grandson. | ||

| Liz earned her BA degree from UCCS in Psychology with an emphasis in Sociology. She has recently completed her teaching certificate through BOCES. Also Liz is working towards a Master's degree Through Regis University. After Substitute teaching at PMCS for one year, Liz became a full staff member. This is her 3rd year in fifth grade. She has three children, Christian, Drew, and Emmy with her husband of 17 years, Leonard. She loves being with her family, baking reading, and walking her dog Buddy. | ||

| Cathy graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Psychology and an EdM in Counseling and Guidance. She has also received a BS in Computer Science and Math from Regis University and teaching credentials form the UCCS. Prior to fulfilling her dream to teach, Cathy was an aerospace engineer for 27 years. As an engineer she worked on the space shuttle, military satellites and NASA satellites doing operations, satellite training and software testing and validation. She and her husband Joe have a daughter that graduated from Pauline and currently attends St. Mary's High School. She enjoys going to Disney World with her family, creating masterpieces on her embroidery sewing machines and spending time with her three dogs and spoiled cat. |

Shannon graduated from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN with a BA in Art and Graphic Design and Secondary Education. She has been licensed in the sate of Minnesota and she holds a current teaching license in Colorado. She and her husband Mike were married in 1970 and have three children, all who graduated from Pauline. In her free time Shannon enjoys reading murder mysteries, baking treats and creating designs on Adobe Illustrator. |

Berna was born in Lynwood, California. When her father retired from the Navy, her family moved here to be with her mother's family. She married Randoll Keating of Colorado Springs in 1994. She graduated from Pikes Peak Community College and continued her education at the University on of Colorado in Pueblo. There she earned a Bachelor in Science of Biology and minors in Reading and Elementary Education. She graduated cum laude in 1998. Meanwhile, she had started her family and now has three daughters, Natalie, Nina and Lori Lee. |

| Kerri graduated from Adam's State College with a BA in Elementary Education, a minor in Science and a coaching certificate. She has had her Colorado Teacher license since 1992 and has taught at Pauline Memorial since 1998. She has also taught Science and Language Arts to 7th grade students in Fountain, Colorado for 4 years. She has been married since1999 to her husband, Brian. They have 3 sons, Richard, Matthew, Aaron and one daughter, Annie Joy. She enjoys reading, the outdoors, sports and the Broncos. | ||
