II. Welcome/Introductions/Recognition
A. Welcome
Sarah Ross welcomed all of the parents and staff to a new school year.
B. Introduction Fr. Bob Jaeger
Fr. Bob Jaeger provided his philosophy on the Church/school community. His desire is for the priests to be more actively involved in the school. As well, he wants the Church and school communities to work closely together as one entity.
C. Introductions - 2008-2009 PTO
Presidents – Sarah Ross and Nichole Muñoz
Treasurer – Jeanne Cichon
Secretary – Susan Holmes
D. Introduction – Principal (Larry Dorsey-Spitz)
E. Introduction – Staff
All staff present were introduced.
F. Introduction – School Advisory Council
All School Advisory Council members present were introduced.
G. Recognize New Families
All new families were asked to stand and introduce themselves.
III. Mission Statement and Goals
A. PTO Mission Statement
With Jesus Christ as our guide, our mission is to enhance the learning environment for students, administration, and faculty at Pauline Memorial Catholic School by raising funds and building community to support the goals of the school.
B. PTO Goals
1. To adhere to the 2007-2008 PTO Budget.
2. To support current and future school improvements and additional needs.
3. To communicate openly and honestly with staff, families, and Church.
4. To ensure PMCS families are afforded the opportunity to be involved in
school/Church community.
5. To support our PMCS staff throughout the 2008-2009 school year.

B. Reimbursement Process/Expectations
To submit a reimbursement request, please make sure you keep all receipts and turn them in together to Jeanne.
V. Fr. Bob Jaeger’s Report
Fr. Bob gave his report during his introduction.
VI. Principal’s Report
Larry provided his Principal’s Report. (See Attached.)
VII. Communication/Information Flow
A. PMCS/PTO Website (http://www.stpaulcos.org/)
You can find a link to the PMCS PTO on the St. Paul’s website.
B. Thursday Folders
Most communication to families will be sent home in Thursday Folders. Please check your folders each week, and then return the folders the next day.
C. Email Communication/E-Blast (Similar to SMHS)
This is being looked at, using the SMHS E-Blast as a model.
D. Telephone Tree
The Telephone Tree is a courtesy service provided by volunteers. If you do not receive a phone call during inclement weather, check the school website and/or listen to the designated TV channels for delays/closing information.

Kelley Edwards and Jeanne Cichon are the SCRIP Coordinators. Should you have any questions or need assistance, please see one of these ladies.

All present should make sure they get free dress passes for their children. It is to be used for tomorrow only.
