The meeting began with a prayer.
- Treasury Report (Jeanne Cichon, PTO Treasurer)
Jeanne went over the treasurer report. (See attachment B.)

Jeanne also stated that Karen Condon and Rhonda Miller who chaired Breakfast with Santa will not be turning in any receipts. Thank you ladies.
- Requests
Principal Dorsey-Spitz is asking for PTO to purchase a brand new fire proof filing cabinet. The cost for one would be about $2,500.00. Ellen Haskins asked if we could use an old filing cabinet. The group was not sure about that. Ellen Haskins made a suggestion of maybe the school could just scan paper work instead of filing it? Jeanne Barta stated that her husband Tom Barta could do that. Larry said that this could be a possibility and he would have to look into it further.
The fire proof cabinet was tabled until next meeting.
Paper Cutters
Larry is asking PTO to purchase 2 paper cutters for the copy area. The cost would be $300.00. $150.00 per paper cutter.
Ellen Haskins moved that we purchase the paper cutters. Jeanne Barta seconded the motion. All were in favor; none opposed.
PTO will be purchasing 2 paper cutters for $300.00.
- Principal’s Report
- (See Attachment C.)
- Larry stated that parents need to rely on edline for school cancellations and the calling tree.
-
- Fr. Bob Jaeger’s Report
- Father went over the churches financials. He stated that families are not keeping up with their pledges.
B. He mentioned that church staff will be getting no bonuses and there could be a few church staff members that will be losing their jobs.
C. Since money is tight, if teachers cannot be paid then the parents of the school will have to step in and help out.
D. St. Paul Church may borrow the money to refinance from St. Joseph- Southgate Church to pay “off” the current loan.
E. Collections have been up these last 3-5 weeks.
F. The church is still trying to purchase the house that is for sale by the church. Father feels that this would be a great investment. The asking price for the house is $500.000.00.
